Due to John Daly's great first round, we have decided to make a day out of round two. Me and some buddies are tailgating here in New York watching the second round.
To show our support for John Daly, SEC Tailgate will bring you live updates throughout the day.

To the delight of the jack-legs over at ESPN, John started out bogey-bogey on the first two holes. He is now 1 under.
ESPN's blog is reporting "the wheels are coming off, the wheels are coming off."
After a great second shot on number 12 (Daly's third hole) his birdie shot rolled out. He remains 1 under for the championship and 2 over for the day.
Look for some birdies on the next few holes.
One thing is for sure, the media loves Tiger Woods.
Another random note, I just got back from Connecticut and the county club types are not happy with Daly leading after the first day.
How uncouth!
I have no idea how John Daly is doing because they are still showing Tiger Woods highlights.
Big suprise there, if John Daly is leading the final round they will probably switch to coverage of the paper-rock championship.
Daly misses another birdie putt on 13 and sinks his putt for par.
He remains 1 under for the championship. Daly is tied for 8th place.
Another par on 14. TNT admits Daly's crowd is very large and are ready to get rowdy.
I'm still waiting for some comments about Happy Gilmore.
Big John remains 1 under for the championship and 2 over for the day.
TNT just said "I think day one was a fluke for John Daly. He didn't practice and he is too aggressive."
Daly just made par on hole 15.
On 16 JD hit his drive into the trees. Then he made a great second shot to the green and made an easy par putt. The crowd went wild after his second shot.
This may be the best live John Daly coverage on the internet. ESPN and CNNSI are at least three holes behind.
On 17 during JD's tee shot the folks at TNT said "these people are clapping just because Daly hits a shot. They are not even watching where the ball goes."
Then after a perfect 358 yard drive they say "okay, I suppose that is where you want it."
On 17 Daly makes a BIRDIE!!!
JD is now 2 under for the championship.
On 18, Daly finally played the course like everyone else and it didn't turn out well. After taking an iron off the tee and missing a long par putt, JD ended up with a bogey.
Big John is 2 over after the first 9 holes of the second round. He is 1 under for the championship.
On hole 1 (Daly's 10th) JD made a par.
He remains 1 under for the tourney.
On hole 2 JD made another par.
Daly is even going into the 5th hole.
JD birdies hole 5 and is now 1 under for the tourney.
JD is currently even for the tourney and tied for 9th place.
Hopefully big John will have a big game day in round three.
